We went to LA Pride and asked the community "What does Pride mean to you"? We took their responses and used them as inspiration and foundation for our lyrics

Sometimes i feel like hesitating
then the bravery comes running at me kicking
to live that truth, express this love
free yourself with the moments we got
I show up with the freedom tmo keep on loving
Pride is fun and so are the thoughts i'm thinking
expressing myself underneath the sun
if we keep the place safe we can do what we want

I show up for the ones i love
i keep going for family equality
it's more than just a label
it's creating this whole energy
and passing it as currency respecting this whole unity
i've been waiting for a place where my heart speaks whole and speaking up is a beast on it's own

and they demonize the stereotype
